The City of Saint John has established the Communications Department to assist all City departments in communicating with various audiences, especially our citizens and City employees.
The department provides communications planning, programs, advice, consultation, advertising, civic event assistance and media relations.
The goals of the Communications Department include:
- Fostering positive relationships between the City, our employees and our citizens by providing effective communications services.
- Establishing communications standards, services and processes across the organization.
- Developing and delivering strategic messaging for the City of Saint John.
- Improving competencies, expertise and management practices to support the delivery of high-quality communication services.
