Councillor Strowbridge was first elected to Common Council in the May 2012 election and was re-elected in May of 2016. He currently lives in Glen Falls in East Saint John and serves Ward 4.

A graduate of Simonds High School and Holland College, Ray is a paramedic and is employed with Ambulance New Brunswick. He is a member of the Finance Committee for the City of Saint John and sits on the Board of Directors for Saint John Non Profit Housing.

A dedicated father and someone passionate about Saint John, Councillor Strowbridge supports and works with local community groups including the Glen Falls Community Committee, Latimore Lake Community Association, Champlain Heights Community Association and the Red Head Community Association which he helped establish.

As a Councillor, Ray expresses a keen interest in community capacity building within Saint John neighbourhoods, as well as a stable tax rate and stable services. He is a strong advocate of community involvement, supporting local business and citizen engagement. Councillor Strowbridge looks forward to sharing and bringing forward the voices of the citizens of Saint John and to continue working with the communities of Ward 4 to help move Saint John forward and to make it a better place for all.
