2014 Saint John Police Community Survey

Fri November 7, 2014

Public satisfaction with the work of the Saint John Police Force is one of the key measures of police performance. This may also be expressed as ‘fear of crime’. Each Strategic Planning cycle (approximately every six years) the Force engages an independent survey-based research firm (in 2014, Ipsos Reid) to conduct a substantial survey, analyze the results, and report on the findings. The survey helps guide our operational and administrative choices, and informs our strategic planning.

As stated by Ipsos Reid “ 2014 results indicate a notable improvement in the performance of the Saint John Police Force on many levels compared to four years ago”.
