Four Search Warrants Executed in Saint John

Three males and 2 females, all residents of Saint John, were arrested following a 4 month investigation by members of the Fundy Integrated Intelligence Unit for drug related offences under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.

On January 26th, 2013, members of the Saint John Police Force, RCMP, Rothesay Regional Police Force and Canada Border Services Agency executed 4 Search Warrants at Saint John residences on Somerset St., MacLaren Blvd. and Baxter Rd., along with 1 vehicle search. 

Seized in these police raids were cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, 4 firearms, ammunition, a prohibited knife, other edged weapons, contraband cigarettes and over $6000 in cash.  The drugs seized have a street value in excess of $11,300. 

The 2 females were released with future Court dates while the 3 males will appear in Court on Monday morning, January 28th, 2013 to face a variety of Criminal Code, Controlled Drugs and Substances Act and Excise Act charges.
