Thu May 10, 2012

graffiti building

The Saint John Police Force will be celebrating National Police Week May 14-18. This year our focus will be Graffiti Awareness and Eradication’.

The Community Services Unit will be visiting businesses throughout the City during Police Week. Members of the Unit will be distributing information on graffiti, and discussing the negative impact it can have  on our community.  The Community Services Unit will also be conducting graffiti removal exercises within each of the priority neighborhoods, with the assistance of neighborhood groups, students and youth groups.

Our message to all residents, businesses and property owners is to report graffiti, and document (photograph) and remove it as soon as possible.   Remember Graffiti is a Crime.

The Saint John Police Force encourages you to report any incidents of graffiti; contact us at 648-3333.
