Robbery of Dollarama Store Lansdowne Avenue

(SAINT JOHN, NB) –The Saint John Police Force is presently investigating a report of a robbery at the Dollarama Store located on Lansdowne Avenue in Saint John N.B. on the 19th of August 2016 at approximately 9:18pm.

A male suspect is believed to have hidden inside the store until closing. Once the staff had closed the store he came out of hiding and threatened the staff with a firearm and demanded cash. He then fled the store with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described as a male Caucasian, believed to be in his forties, approximately 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 inches in height, very distinctive blue eyes, short light colored hair  wearing blue jeans, a button down blue shirt, bandana partially concealing his face and a ball cap.

The suspect was last seen leaving the area in a white colored 4 door vehicle.

There were no injuries reported during this incident.

The Saint John Police Force Major Crime Unit continues to investigate.
