Second Armed Robbery of Taxi Driver

The Saint John Police Force is presently investigating a report of an armed robbery of a taxi driver that occurred on today’s date at 335am in the area of Clarendon Street, located in the city’s north end. Two male suspects were picked up on Clarendon Street, after which a weapon was displayed and money was demanded from the driver.

Both suspects are described as being in their early twenties, and clean shaven. One male was approximately 5’8”, wearing a dark jacket while the second suspect was a bit shorter in height. The suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of money and were last seen in the area of Clarendon Street. The taxi operator was not injured as a result of this incident.

The investigation is continuing with the assistance of the Saint John Police Force Major Crime Unit.
