SJPF Arrest Male in Connection with Recent Armed Robbery

SUSPECT APPREHENDED AND FACING CHARGE OF ARMED ROBBERY IN CONNECTION TO RJ’S QUICK MART ROBBERY ON JUNE 5th, 2013

(SAINT JOHN, NB) – The Saint John Police Force has arrested a 47 year old male in connection to the recent Armed Robbery at RJ’s Quick Mart located at 634 Dever Road, Saint John, NB.

The Robbery occurred at 5:37pm on June 5th, 2013 where a lone male entered the store brandishing a weapon demanding cash and cigarettes.

The male suspect was previously described as: white male, 40s, 5’6”-5’7”, 150 lbs, skinny build, wearing a camouflage ball cap, wearing a mask, long sleeve dark shirt with white lettering on left chest, dark pants.

This male is being held pending remand court in the morning.
