SJPF Requesting Public's Assistance in Identification of Male in Photos

Fri January 16, 2015

The Saint John Police Force Major Crime Unit is releasing still photographs in the hope of seeking public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in these pictures (below).

Two women were believed to be accosted during separate incidents involving one male in uptown Saint John.

Around 7:00 last night (January 14th), a woman reported she was being followed by a suspicious looking man and then chased on foot to a nearby address off of Cliff Street.

The second incident occurred at 9:30pm, where we received another report of a woman heard screaming on Princess Street near Sydney after a man grabbed her before taking off to avoid being arrested.

We believed the two events are connected to this same male suspect.

The following description is being provided:

  • Male was wearing a football type jacket with orange sleeves.  The jacket was baggy
  • Army green faded baseball hat with the peak curved
  • Jeans, boot cut style and described as being a little baggy
  • Timberland boots, beige like work boots but not real work boots
  • He was clean shaven and bald
  • His aged was estimated at mid-40's-50's
  • Roundish face, but you could see his chin
  • He was considered average size, normal weight and looked healthy

The Saint John Police Force is asking anyone with information on these incidents to contact 506-648-3333 or crime stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
