Service ObjectivesMeasureWhy Measure?
To ensure that wastewater is disposed of effectively with minimal environmental impact.
Wastewater Treatment:  Measure of the number of samples that are in compliance with effluent quality standards at each wastewater treatment facility as a percentage of the total number of samples analyzed.
The measure is an indication of how effective source contaminant reduction and the treatment processes are on ensuring wastewater effluent meets or exceeds National Performance Standards and effluent discharge objectives.
To ensure the efficient collection and treatment of wastewater.
Efficiency Measure:  Operating costs for the collection and treatment of wastewater per megalitre.
Provides an indication of the costs associated with the collection and treatment  of wastewater.
