Playground Program

The City of Saint John's Recreation and Community Development Service offers a free summer program to children ages 6-12. The eight week program runs from June 27 to August 19, 2016.

The program includes daily sports, recreation, arts, crafts, outings and games, and is designed to promote recreation and healthy neighbourhoods – community priorities. Every year, approximately 300 children participate in the program daily.
Program hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. and
1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
(except holidays). Lunch and transportation are not provided. Parents can register with staff at the individual sites anytime after June 27.

You can register your child at any time throughout the summer during our program hours.  Just bring your child to the program site, complete the form, and your child is registered immediately.  Just be sure you have your child's medicare number with you.  For more information, check out the Parent Information Sheet.
