A vibrant uptown core is important to the economic prosperity of Saint John. The Urban Redevelopment Service encourages development and promotes revitalization of the City’s centre. The service coordinates community-based infrastructure development projects.  Investment from all three levels of government and the private sector support these projects.  Development currently focuses on access to the City’s waterfront and includes:
