Real Estate Services manages the City’s real estate holdings form an acquisition, disposition and asset management perspective. Real Estate supports the Municipality’s’ interests in land matters and responds to the public’s inquiries regarding the City’s real estate assets.
Some responsibilities of the department include;
- Acquiring land or land interests for municipal projects.
- Actively manages the City’s Real Estate Assets eg. tax management, surplus land sales.
- Reports to Council in such land matters as aforementioned.
