The City’s Corporate Planning area provides strategic guidance and support to the Corporation as it strives to be recognized as a service-based, results oriented, high performance organization. The objective of the area include:
- Establishing corporate strategic and service planning frameworks and working collaboratively with service providers in implementing these frameworks at the service level.
- Promoting performance management (accountability) and public reporting at all levels of the organization; coordinating the preparation of corporate performance plans and related reports.
- Managing a service process improvement program; looking at end-to-end processes with a goal of improving effectiveness and efficiency.
