Meetings are held in the Council Chamber in the Lobby Level of City Hall, 15 Market Square. Televised coverage of regular Council meetings is provided on Rogers
Cable, Channel 10, at 9:30 p.m. on Monday evenings, with a rebroadcast
on Tuesday at 9 a.m.
Presenting at a Common Council meeting
Anyone wishing to speak at a Council meeting (except for Public
Hearings) is required to submit a written brief in order to be scheduled
for a presentation to Council. The time allotment for a presentation is
set by Council policy. The Common Clerk's Office can provide, upon
request, the most recent Council-adopted information regarding the
guidelines relating to public presentations by members of the public, as
well as the procedure for Public Hearings.
NOTE: Original
documents only are accepted for application to or inclusion on the
Council Agenda. E-mailed and faxed documents cannot be accepted.

Agendas & Minutes
Agendas are available at the Common Clerk's Office 8th floor, City Hall,
at 4 p.m. on the Friday before the meeting, and on the Agendas and Minutes section of
our website.
If you would like to find out what action Common Council took on a particular matter during a Council meeting, you may contact the Common Clerk's Office at (506) 658-2862.
Letters addressed to the Common Council should be sent to the Common Clerk's Office, City Hall, P. O. Box 1971, Saint John, N. B. E2L 4L1. Letters must be received no later than Thursday prior to a meeting to be considered.
