City Crews Responding to Storm

26-Mar-2014

Despite high winds and near white out conditions, City crews are working to ensure that City streets remain accessible so that emergency vehicles are able to respond to calls during the storm. Crews will be working throughout the night.

The Saint John Police Force has advised motorists to stay off the roads.

A traffic light at the corner of Sydney Street and King Square North is damaged and may fall with the persistent winds. Repairs can only be made safely when the wind calms. Please avoid the area.

Residents are reminded that it is illegal to shovel snow onto city streets and sidewalks. Residents are also reminded that winter parking restrictions are still in effect.

We thank you for your cooperation.
