City of Saint John invites citizens to join in for Earth Hour

24-Mar-2011

The City of Saint John’s employee sustainability team has pledged its support for Earth Hour. Expect the lights in most City facilities, including City Hall, to dim on Saturday, March 26 at 8:30 p.m.

To truly have an effect on the City’s power use during Earth Hour, we need our citizens’ help. Turn off your lights and all unnecessary appliances for an hour and we’ll be able to see how much our electrical demand drops.

To pledge your participation in Earth Hour, visit www.earthhourcanada.org. Sign up to become a member of Living Planet to pledge your support. Under groups, there’s a Saint John, New Brunswick community group.
