City of Saint John Post-Storm Notices


The traffic lights at the intersection of Westmorland Road and McLaughlin Crescent will be out of service until early next week.  A stop sign will be placed on the McLaughlin approach.  Right of way will remain for Westmorland Road traffic until repairs are made.

The City’s transportation and environment service crews report that all roads closed yesterday have reopened. Crews removed downed trees on Westmount Drive and Churchland Road.  Damage to trees in the City’s parks was minimal.

Repairs on to a watermain on Rothesay Avenue continue and motorists are advised to use an alternate route. The work is not related to yesterday’s storm. It is expected the road will be opened by 6pm tonight (Friday).

Residents are also advised that the  Carleton Community Centre will remain closed to the public until Monday, February 4th, 2013 (inclusive). 

The Market Place Wellness Centre will maintain regular business hours. 

Subsequent notice will be provided in the case of any changes.
