Updated: City-Sponsored Event Schedule Changes due to Impending Storm

The City of Saint John wishes to advise citizens of the following changes to city-sponsored events scheduled for the weekend.  City officials and event organizers continue to track the impending storm activity forecasted for this weekend.  Patrons are encouraged to verify with event organizers for up-to-date schedule information.

As of Friday, July 4, 2014, the changes are as follows:

Passport to Parks will be postponed to the rain date of Sunday, July 6, 2014.  All activity times remain the same.
Dominion Park 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Little River Reservoir 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Salty Jam Music Festival: All events scheduled for the Prince William Street Party have been relocated to the Marco Polo Cruise Terminal.  Events scheduled for the King Square Band Stand have relocated to the City Market. For more information, please visit their facebook page or website,

Citizens are advised to stay tuned to local media sources for additional advisories (ie cancellations, closures, etc.) resulting from the storm.
