City’s Post-Storm Tree Clean Up Continues


City of Saint John crews are continuing their clean-up efforts of leaves, branches and tree trunks damaged by tropical storm Arthur.

As of Thursday afternoon, crews had removed over 160 loads from areas across the city.  All available equipment and crews working on the clean-up efforts. Crews and equipment are scheduled to continue through next week. Officials will undertake another assessment at that time.

Crews will not pick up material other than storm damaged leaves, branches and trunks of trees.

The material will be chipped or composted.  Wood chips will be used throughout City trails
