OPENING CEREMONIES

Marco Polo Cruise Ship Terminal, 111 Water Street, Saint John, NB

City’s declaration, awards for individual, group and employer who have significantly supported persons with disabilities.  Demonstrations of accessible Yoga and Martial Arts. Information booths on various disabilities, services, recreation and community living.

OPEN HOUSE CELEBRATING ABILITIES

Experience through simulation daily living barriers of someone with a disability.  Receive specific information about various disabilities. 

TOWN HALL MEETING

Wednesday, June 03, 2015, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
River Cross Church, 61 Forbes Drive, Saint John, NB

World Café style event focuses on disability issues in the municipality of Saint John.  Come discuss barriers and/or celebrate successes with members of various City departments and City Councilors. 

ADAPTIVE EQUIPMENT FAIR

View, learn and operate Accessibility and Adaptive software and hardware that help remove barriers and provide strategies to enhance a person’s ability to participate in all aspects of community: social, educational and employment opportunities.

WALK AND ROLL CHALLENGE

Friday, June 05, 2015, 12:00 – 1:00 p.m.
Marco Polo Cruise (111 Water Street) terminal to City Hall, Saint John, NB

A province wide 15-minute Walk and Roll Challenge held at schools and other public locations in New Brunswick. Come join us!!!

COMMUNITY PICNIC AND FUN DAY

Saturday, June 06, 2015 – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.   
Rockwood Park – Fisher Lakes, Kiwanis Play Park, Saint John, NB

Barbecue and refreshments, games & prizes, door prizes, face painting, meeting and greeting.
