The City of Saint John will be undertaking the reconstruction of Prince William Street between Princess Street and Duke Street, including the intersections. The project includes the renewal of the existing watermain and sanitary sewer, installation of a new storm sewer, relocating above ground utilities to underground, removal of an abandoned heating tunnel, and road reconstruction consisting of new granite curb, concrete sidewalk, brick median, asphalt resurfacing, and landscaping within the construction limits.
The project is planned to begin in April, 2014 and is expected to be completed by the end of October, 2014. Prior to construction, another notice will be distributed to inform residents and business owners of the actual construction schedule.
Representatives from the City of Saint John and the project design team from CBCL Limited will be available to answer questions related to the project. The public is invited to attend an information session on this project on the following date and times:
