REMINDER: Winter Overnight Parking Restrictions Now in Effect

The City of Saint John reminds citizens that the Winter Overnight Parking Restriction takes effect today, December 1, and remains in effect until March 31, 2015.

There is no parking on most City streets between midnight and 7 a.m.

Some streets are exempted from the parking restriction. Visit saintjohn.ca/winter to look at a map of exempted streets, or call 658-4455 to verify the parking restrictions in your neighbourhood.

Signs are posted indicting the parking rules in effect under the City’s Traffic By-Law.

The entire South Central Peninsula is subject to year-round alternate side parking, which has been in place since 2003. Follow the posted signs on these streets. Learn more about parking in the South Central Peninsula and Snow Ban system.

Residents are reminded that there is no overnight parking city arena parking lots. You may be ticketed or towed.
