Saint John Fire Department to conduct training exercises in Rockwood Park

The Saint John Fire Department will be conducting live search and rescue training exercises in Rockwood Park during the last three weeks of February and first week of March. The exercises will take place over three non-consecutive evenings, from approximately 6:00 p.m. -10:00 p.m. Most of the training activity will focus on areas within the park and around the Sandy Point Road wilderness loop.

During the exercises, citizens may notice some emergency vehicles and lights in and around the park. Road closures and traffic delays are not expected.
