Saint John Heritage Development Board celebrates the 2015 Heritage Awards

From restoration of a cedar roof on an historic farmhouse to
re-imagining the City’s Uptown

The Heritage Development Board (HDB) recognized eight heritage property owners during the 2015 Heritage Award ceremony at the February 22 meeting of Saint John Common Council.  The awards recognize excellence in heritage conservation.

“These exemplary heritage projects have been completed by dedicated property owners together with local contractors and artisans who lend their skill and expertise to ensure a job well done,” said Bob Boyce, Chair of the HDB. “I want to thank Council for your continued support of this worthwhile program. However, it is individuals such as the award recipients tonight who invest many dollars and hours into maintaining this City’s architectural assets which will be appreciated by our own community and visitors for generations to come.”
