Update 9pm

Plowing operations have resumed. Officials will continue to monitor conditions.


Update 6:50pm

Changeover for alternate side parking is cancelled tonight (Sunday, February 15) in the South Central Peninsula. 

Residents will be advised when the changeover will occur. This is will allow City crews time to properly plow the streets in the area.

The City thanks you for your cooperation.


Update 1:38pm

Due to poor visibility and storm conditions, The City of Saint John is once again suspending street plow operations. Plows have been dispatched to key locations around the City to assist with emergency response.

Officials will continue to monitor conditions.

Saint John Police are urging people to stay off of all roads and highways. Conditions are treacherous.

Update 10:45am

Due to poor visibility and storm conditions, The City of Saint John is suspending street plow operations. Plows have been dispatched to key locations around the City to assist with emergency response.

All City operated arenas are closed.

Saint John Transit has cancelled service.

Saint John Police are advising citizens to stay off the roads.

Residents are requested to park off-street when and where possible. 

Off-street parking is available in the Peel Plaza Parking Garage at an overnight rate of $5, from 6 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

Residents with a fire hydrant on or near their property are asked to take a few minutes to clear around them so that they remain visible in the event of an emergency.
