Host parks for this year’s program include Shamrock Park, Rainbow Park, Rockwood Park, Station One Skate Plaza, Mispec Park, Dominion Park, Little River Reservoir, Victoria Square, Larche Memorial Park, and Market Place West. The events at each will include a free BBQ, healthy snacks, active games, music, and entertainment to enhance the natural offerings of each park.
The City encourages all residents to come join the fun with their family and friends, and requests the public’s help to spread the word through conversations and on social media using the official hashtag #p2psj. More information on the schedule and activities in each park can be found at www.saintjohn.ca/p2psj.
Community partners and sponsors are large contributors to the Passport to Parks Program, and will play a significant role in its success. Special recognition goes to Canaport LNG, Emera New Brunswick, P.R.O. Kids, Fundy Skateboard Association, East Side Board Supply, the Saint John Fire Department, PULSE, ONE Change, Little River Reservoir Association, Westside PACT, Carleton Advisory Board, and Lancaster Kiwanis Club.
