Traffic Advisory -- Somerset Street Phase Two

Motorists are advised of the following traffic interruptions:

Street: Somerset Street / Wellesley Avenue

Project: Somerset Street (Samuel Davis Drive to Wellesley
Avenue) Storm Sewer Installation and Street Reconstruction


Date: May 28, 2013 (Start date may vary as it is dependent on
weather conditions)

Time: 24 hours a day

Duration: 1 month

Specific Area: Intersection of Wellesley Avenue and Somerset
Street

Direction: South bound /North bound /East bound /West
bound

Action: Somerset Street south bound lanes will be closed to
through traffic from Thornbrough Street to Barker
Street. Traffic will be detoured via Thornbrough Street,
Cranston Avenue and Barker Street. Somerset Street north
bound lanes will be closed to through traffic from Barker Street
to Thornbrough Street. Traffic will be detoured via Cranston
Avenue and Thornbrough Street.

Wellesley Avenue east bound lanes will be closed to through
traffic from Montgomery Crescent to Cranston Avenue. Traffic
will be detoured via Montgomery Crescent, Webster Street,
Magazine Street, Barker Street and Cranston Avenue. Wellesley
Avenue west bound lanes will be closed to through traffic from
Cranston Avenue to Montgomery Crescent. Traffic will be
detoured via Cranston Avenue, Barker Street, Magazine Street,
Webster Street and Montgomery Crescent.

Description of Work: Storm Sewer Installation and Street
Reconstruction

Additional information: Motorists are encouraged to take Millidge Avenue where possible, and to consider alternate transportation methods and
travel times.

Motorists are advised to plan their travel accordingly, reduce
speeds in construction zones, observe signage, and drive safely.
Work commencement and completion times are subject to
change. Weather permitting.
