Motorists and pedestrians in Saint John are advised that the following Uptown streets remain closed due to the fire on Charlotte Street:
• Charlotte Street from King Square to Horsefield Street
• Princess Street from Sydney Street to Germain Street
The Saint John Fire Department advises residents that the foam being used to fight the fire is biodegradable, non-toxic and will dissolve.
Motorists are also advised that Rothesay Avenue at the train bridge is now open.
