As heavy rain continues to fall across the region, the City of Saint John reminds citizens that localized flooding can occur and icy road and sidewalk conditions are expected to worsen once the temperature drops later tonight and tomorrow. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to use extra caution when on roads and sidewalks and to observe all barricades and road closures.
City Crews continue to work hard today to clear more catch basins and will be prepared to respond to icy conditions tonight.
If localized flooding occurs, an advisory will be issued outlining any road closures. Check www.saintjohn.ca and stay tuned to your radio for updates.
