A Law to Amend the Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John

Public Notice is hereby given that the Common Council of The City of Saint John intends to consider amending the Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John at its regular meeting to be held in the Council Chamber on Monday, March 25, 2019.

 

The Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John enacted on the fifteenth day of December, A.D., 2014 is amended by:

 

 

  • Adding Special Zone No. 4 (SZ-4) to the list of Other Zones in Section 2.2;

  • Adding as Section 14.9 / 14.9(1) Special Zone No. 4 (SZ-4) Permitted Uses;

  • Adding 14.9(2) Conditions of Use;

  • Adding 14.9(3) Zone Standards;

  • Amending Schedule “A”, the Zoning Map of The City of Saint John, by re-zoning a parcel of land having an area of approximately 0.55 hectares, located at 179-185 Golden Grove Road, also identified as being PID Numbers 55057848, 55057855 and 55201750, from Two-Unit Residential (R2) to Special Zone 4 (SZ4).

The proposed by-law may be inspected by any interested person at the office of the Common Clerk, City Hall, 15 Market Square, Saint John, NB between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, inclusive, holidays excepted.

 

The proposed amendment to the Zoning By-Law of The City of Saint John may be read in summary only if no member of Council objects.
