CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES AND IMPACT TO WATER SYSTEM PRESSURE

01-Jun-2018
Top Saint John Water

Location: Civic address as noted on the map in the area of Rothesay Avenue
Start Date: May 29, 2018
Expected Completion Date: August 7, 2018

Due to required construction activities for the Safe Clean Drinking Water Project, Port City Water Partners and Saint John Water is informing customers on Rothesay Avenue that available fire flows are lower than usual at this time. Available fire flows to the affected customers on Rothesay Avenue are identified on the map below. We recommend that all affected customers in the area notify their fire sprinkler company and/or insurance company and take necessary precautions.

Affected businesses may need to take additional measures to monitor fire protection systems for low pressure alarms and provide alternate fire monitoring while construction in the area is underway, as per the dates above.

Please note that water service will be maintained throughout the duration of the construction period; only system pressure and flow will be reduced.
