The gas leak has been repaired on the
City’s East side. Although streets are open, motorists in the area can expect
traffic delays.Power has been restored and people
can return to homes and businesses.

A natural gas leak on the City’s East side has resulted in traffic and power disruptions in the area this includes Westmorland Road to Gerard, Braemar, Parkhill, Empire Studio 10, and Westmorland Mall. Crews are on scene.
Westmorland Road is closed at McAllister and Golden Grove Road. Parkhill Drive is closed at Golden Grove.
Some homes and businesses in the area have been evacuated and power has been turned off. Evacuated homes and business are expected to be able to return by 10:30am.
Power outage is expected to last until mid-afternoon.
