Stay off the streets during this evening’s storm The City of Saint John’s snow removal crews will be out in force this evening and overnight to keep City streets as safe as possible during the forecasted snowstorm. Citizens are reminded to avoid travelling during the storm and to take advantage of available off-street parking, where possible.

Scheduled power interruption in pedway system this evening There will be a power interruption beginning at 7:00 p.m. this evening (Wednesday, February 22) that will impact the pedway system from the St. Patrick Street pedestrian bridge into the pedway to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre.

Pedway system power interruption cancelled The closure of the pedway system scheduled for Tuesday evening (February 21) has been cancelled.

Scheduled power interruption in pedway system Tuesday evening There will be a power interruption beginning on Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. that will impact the pedway system from the St. Patrick Street pedestrian bridge into the pedway to the Canada Games Aquatic Centre. This interruption is in order to perform necessary repairs, and will impact the lighting, heating, ventilation, elevators, and escalators within this area.

Rainbow Park skating rink closed until further notice The skating surface at Rainbow Park is temporarily out of service. An electrical transformer at the park was damaged, leaving the freezing plant without electricity. A new transformer has been ordered and will be installed soon.
