The skating surface at Rainbow Park is temporarily out of
service.
An electrical transformer at the park was damaged, leaving
the freezing plant without electricity. A new transformer has been ordered and
will be installed soon.
Leisure Services appreciates the cooperation of the public
in staying off the ice surface until repairs are complete. With the freezing
plant offline, the ice surface is subject to the outside temperatures and may
not be safe for skating. Notice will be issued when the skating rink is open.
