On Monday, January 23, 2012, traffic will be reduced to one
lane in the westbound direction of Route 1 in the area of exit 114, which is
the exit for Grand Bay – Westfield and Fredericton. This lane closure will
remain in effect for six weeks.
Please plan your travel accordingly. We apologize for any
inconvenience and will work efficiently to minimize disruption. When the Route
1 Gateway is completed by July 31, 2013, travel will be safer and more reliable
for residents, commuters and visitors.
