New Brunswick Museum

Join the New Brunswick Museum for a number of family friendly activities including storytelling and hands-on activities like art instruction, discovery tours, crafts, cooking and more!

Each month has a different theme - there's so much to learn!

September is Digging Archaeology. Explore exciting archaeologic finds throughout NBM galleries and participate in “artefact” crafting and other activities that will help you to “dig” archaeology as much as we do!

GIANT YARD SALE

Carleton Community Centre

The Carleton Community Centre is hosting a Giant Yard Sale as our fall fundraiser.

VENDORS: Reserve your table now! $10 per table. Here's what you'll get:
- 1 – 6’ table (You may bring additional boxes, etc to fill your designated space.)
- Free city-wide promotion of the event, including printed posters and digital media.
- 1 healthy snack plate
- All profits from the sale of your items are you own.
Tables are limited, so reserve yours today. Vendors may arrive no earlier than 8am to set up. Doors open to the public strictly at 9am. Cash or cheque must be delivered to the Carleton Community Centre by no later than Tuesday, September 25 to confirm your reserved table. Email Krista or call 658-2920.

BARGAIN HUNTERS: Doors to the public open promptly at 9am. As this is a fundraising event, there is a $2 entrance fee per person. Children under 12 are free and may donate if they wish.

Clothing, toys, games, books, housewares, electronics, tools, baked goods, popcorn...it's all up for grabs.

The Market Place Wellness Centre will also be offering free blood pressure and blood glucose checks.

Proceeds go to support free programming offered at the Carleton Community Centre.
