Attempted Robbery Under Investigation

Saint John Police Force’s Major Crime Unit is investigating an attempted robbery of a business in East Saint John on Thursday, October-1-2020.

Just before 3:00pm, a man walked into the Bank of Nova Scotia Branch on Westmorland Road, told staff he had a weapon and demanded cash.
The man fled the business on foot and no one was injured.  

The suspect is five foot ten, 25-30 years of age with facial hair and a receding hairline. At the time of the incident was wearing a black and white jacket, black hoodie, blue jeans and a mask.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have been in the area of the bank at that time to contact them at 1-506-648-3333.
