Man In Custody Following Uptown Robbery

No one was injured after a robbery at the Giant Tiger on Sunday, April-19-2020. At 3:00pm, a man was in the store in Prince Edward Square Mall when he pushed a clerk away from the register, grabbed some money and ran from the store.

The man turned himself in to Saint John Police a short time after the incident. The man, who is on parole, is facing charges of robbery and being unlawfully at large when he makes a court appearance.
