Recent Incidents In Millidgeville Area Prompt Warning From SJPF

Wed July 29, 2020
Following a recent discussion with members of the Greater Saint John Chinese Cultural Association, female members of the group have made the SJPF aware of unwanted advances.  In the past month, three incidents have been reported between University and Millidge Avenues to the SJPF.

A white male in a vehicle is approaching women and asking for directions to the University. The male then asks them to get in his vehicle so they can show him and he will drive them back to where he met them.

On one occasion, the white male was provided with directions to the campus but then drove away in the opposite direction. The man is believed to be between the ages of 35-40 and driving an older model 4 door red vehicle.

The incidents occurred between 12-1pm and 5-6pm.

If you or someone you know has experienced a similar situation or have any information in regards to these incidents, please do not hesitate to contact the SJPF at 1-506-648-3333.
