SJPF Looking for Public Assistance - Robberies

The Saint John Police Force is looking for public assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible for the recent robberies in Saint John, NB.

On Sunday November 11, 2018 around 5:15pm, officers with the Saint John Police Force patrol division responded to the report of a robbery at the South End Convenience store at 131 St. James Street, Saint John, NB.

The lone male in the pictures provided was aggressive in behavior, armed with a weapon and demanded money from the store keeper.

He is described as being approximately 5’10”, wearing a red bandana, black sweater and black pants.

This male made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The store clerk was taken to the Saint John Regional hospital with non-life threatening injuries where he was treated and later released.


On Tuesday November 13th, 2018 at approximately 8:36pm, another report of an armed Robbery was dispatched to patrol officers.

This time at Sandy’s Convenience store located at 301 Sandy Point Road, Saint John NB.

A lone male was armed with a weapon, again aggressive in nature and made the demand of money from the store keeper.

This male suspect was wearing a black mask, a camo colour Adidas hoodie with three white stripes on the bicep area of the sweater/coat and the numbers “03” on the back of this sweater.

The Saint John Police Force major crime unit continues to investigate these incidents and is asking the public for assistance in identifying the person or persons responsible.
