SJPF Looking to Return Found/Lost Property

Wed February 19, 2020
The Saint John Police Force wants to reunite people with property or possessions that may have been lost and then found. Property Control Management is keeper of all of the goods turned in to the Saint John Police Force.

“Cellphones, laptops, jewellery and backpacks are just some of the items in the possession of Property Control Management,” says Manager of Communications Jim Hennessy. “Unfortunately, in several circumstances, the property or possessions never get returned to its rightful owner and by sharing this information, we hope to rectify that,” adds Hennessy.

“There are a lot of people that turn in property that is found around the metro area hoping it is returned to its rightful owner and the SJPF is looking to do the same, says Hennessy.

For anyone wondering if a lost item may be with the Saint John Police Force’s Property Management Office, please call 1-506-648-3235 or email saintjohn.ca and use the subject line “Lost and Found”
