SJPF recommend criminal charges relating to the death of Gavin Adams

Tue November 25, 2014

Saint John, NB- A twenty-six year old adult male will be appearing in provincial court in Saint John on Tuesday, November 25th, 2014 on charges related to the death of Gavin Adams. Gavin’s body was discovered outside in the north end of Saint John on December 16th, 2013 following an extensive two day search.

The accused in this matter will also face several drug related charges.

On December 19th, 2013 the Saint John Police Force issued a public advisory concerning chemical substance commonly referred to as 25i.
We would like to again remind the public about the use of dangerous hallucinogenic drugs, such as this drug 25i-NBOMe.

25i is often found to be offered on small square pieces of paper otherwise known as blotter. It is often mistaken as being the illegal drug LSD.
There is no known approved medical use for this particular synthetic drug, nor is it knowingly approved for human consumption.

It has been declared illegal in the United States where it has been attributed to many deaths.

For more information on 25i-NBOMe, please read the World Health Organization review on 25i-NBOMe at http://www.who.int/medicines/areas/quality_safety/4_19_review.pdf.
