What tickets can I pay?

You may pay Parking Ticket and other Municipal By Law tickets issued by Saint John Police or Saint John Parking Commission Officials on this web site. You cannot pay tickets issued for Liquor, ATV or Motor Vehicle infractions such as speeding registration or seatbelt violations on this site.

Motor Vehicle Infractions may be paid at:  www.snb.ca.

Why is my ticket not appearing?

Tickets issued weekdays by the Saint John Parking Commission (red, black and white tickets) are scheduled to appear 2 business days after the date of issue. If your ticket does not appear, please check this site after 8:00 a.m. two business days after it was issued.

Tickets issued on weekends (Friday 5:00 p.m. to Monday 6:00 a.m.) are scheduled to appear after 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday morning. Tickets issued on holidays will appear after 8:00 a.m. 2 business days after the holiday.

Tickets issued by Saint John Police Department (blue and white tickets) may take 3 to 12 days to appear.

There is a ticket showing under my License Plate which was issued prior to my purchase of the vehicle.  Am I responsible for it?

Tickets issued prior to ownership transfer date (date the registration is transferred at SNB, Department of Motor Vehicles) are the responsibility of the previous owner of the vehicle.  You are responsible for all tickets incurred while the vehicle is registered in your name.

I believe I have another ticket to pay but it does not appear.  How can I confirm whether it is still outstanding?

Tickets that have been transferred to the Province of New Brunswick no longer appear on this site.

Please contact us at parking @saintjohn.ca or 632-PARK (Monday to Friday during normal hours) for assistance.
