Specific area: Between Loch Lomond Rd. and Grandview Ave.
Direction: North bound
Action: Road is closed to thru traffic.
Description of work: Asphalt resurfacing.

Duration: One (1) day
Specific area: From King Street to Grannan Lane
Direction: South bound
Action: A marked detour will be in effect.

WALL STREET UNDERPASS
NORTHBOUND AND SOUTHBOUND
REDUCED TO ONE LANE CLOSURES

The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure wishes to advise the motoring public that the Wall Street Underpass, northbound lane will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday and Thursday, June 24 and 25, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In addition, the southbound lane will also be reduced to one lane on Monday and Tuesday, June 29 and 30, 2020 from 8:00 am to 5:00 p.m.

These lane closures are necessary to complete repairs on the structure and will take approximately one week to complete. Signage will be in place. The Department of Transportation and Infrastructure apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause. The Department reminds motorists to reduce speed and drive safely.

Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning the first week of July, there will be a significant traffic pattern change in the construction zone on the Gilbert Street Viaduct (commonly referred to as the Crown Street Underpass).

Traffic from both directions on the structure will be switched from the current northbound lanes to the southbound lanes. This change will also result in the temporary closure of the eastbound on-ramp to Route 1 for approximately three (3) to four (4) months. Detour signage will be in place.

Time: 24 hrs per day
Duration: 10 weeks
Action: Road will be closed to thru traffic. A marked detour will be in effect. Access to area businesses will be maintained.

Traffic Advisory – Deceleration Lane length reduced – Exit 123 westbound


Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning Wednesday, June 3, the deceleration lane in the westbound direction at Exit 123 in the Saint John thru-way (commonly referred to as the Garden Street exit) will be reduced in length as crews complete maintenance work on an adjacent retaining wall. This deceleration lane reduction is expected to be in place for approximately two (2) weeks. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

Gateway Operations wishes to advise the public that beginning Monday, April 27, 2020, the Gilbert Street Viaduct (commonly referred to as the Crown Street Underpass) will have traffic lanes reduced in both directions for approximately six (6) months.  The lane reductions are necessary as bridge crews work to complete deck maintenance. Pedestrians should also make note that foot traffic may also be impacted from time to time.
