Are you planning on visiting City Hall?

Effective September 8 and going forward, in preparation for the City Hall move, all visitors to City Hall, floors 8-12, must report to the Cashier’s Office in the Shoppes of City Hall before their visit. From there, you will be met by a City representative, asked to wear a mask and screened for COVID-19. You will be then escorted to your destination.
These measures are in place in order to ensure everyone entering the building is in compliance with the orders of the Chief Medical Officer of Health while the City of Saint John begins its move from floors 8-12 to floors 1-4 of City Hall, 15 Market Square.

Visitors include delivery services, suppliers, friends, and family. Elevator access will be very busy, especially during high traffic times (8:00 a.m. -8:30 a.m., noon – 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.). Please keep that in mind. Signage will be posted in elevators on the main level, at the back entrance and at public locations in City Hall to remind visitors that they must check in.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we make the move to provide enhanced customer service.
