WARNING: BOIL WATER BEFORE USING

Residents located after and including 537 Green Head Road West

What happened?

Positive bacteriological sample results were received affecting residents located after and including 537 Green Head Road (after the bridge to the island).

Department of Health was immediately notified and a localized boil water order has been issued to those residents impacted. The micro-organisms can make you sick and are a particular concern for people with weakened immune systems.

What should you do?

What is being done?

Saint John Water is working with the Department of Health to investigate/resolve the issue. Two consecutive clean (negative) bacteriological samples collected a minimum of twenty four hours apart are necessary before the boil water order can be rescinded.  This boil order is expected to last at least until the end of the week.  We will inform you when you no longer need to boil your water.
