Brunswick Pipeline to Hold Mock Emergency Exercise

On behalf of Emera New Brunswick

Brunswick Pipeline will conduct a mock emergency exercise on Monday, November 26, between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on the pipeline Right of Way, in the vicinity of Bayside Drive and Proud Road.

Mock exercises are routine and provide emergency responders and Brunswick Pipeline employees the opportunity to test emergency response and interagency communications practices in a simulated emergency scenario.

Area residents may notice emergency response vehicles and increased activity during this time. Brunswick Pipeline does not anticipate any traffic delays or disruptions to local homes or businesses. No natural gas will be released during the exercise.

Participating in the exercise along with Brunswick Pipeline personnel will be members of the Saint John Fire Department and the NB Emergency Measures Organization.

Emera New Brunswick, owner and operator of the Brunswick Pipeline, places the utmost importance on safety.
