City Hours and Service Schedules for Canada Day


City Hall, Rothesay Avenue and Adelaide Street offices will be closed on Monday, July 2.

Passport to Parks – Sunday, July 1

The City of Saint John will be hosting the annual Mayor's Cup Skateboard Competition at Station One Skate Park as well as Passport to Parks at Mispec Park.

The Saint John City Market 

Sunday, July 1 – Open from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Join in the fun with Mayor Darling, Councillors and Market Merchants.
10 a.m. – 11 a.m., Mayor Darling will preside over a re-enactment of a “Pie Poudre (Pie Powder) Court”; a special tribunal held at fairs or markets that dates back to the 18th century England.

Saint John Transit Commission  

Sunday, July 1 – The Saint John Transit Commission is pleased to advise regular customers and all of the residents of Saint John that the holiday bus service being operated on Canada Day will be free for the entire day.  There will be no Comex service.

Monday, July 2 – Holiday service.  There will be no Comex service.
