City of Saint John - Recreation facility update

12-Jun-2020

The City of Saint John will be opening dog parks and additional select playgrounds on Friday, June 12 respecting current guidelines provided by New Brunswick’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.  We ask park patrons to closely observe all posted signage and help us work together as a community to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

All of the following municipal dog parks and playgrounds are open on a “use-at-your-own-risk basis.” Users are asked to practice physical distancing, wear masks if this is not possible, use hand sanitizer or wash hands before and after using equipment, and leave the playground once you have finished play to ensure there is no crowding within these areas. Staff will be monitoring for compliance. The City will not be sanitizing equipment or providing hand sanitizer at any of these facilities.
